How do you carmelize an onion?

Answer:

Lightly oil a skillet or fry pan with an organic canola or olive oil. Cut onions in thinly sliced half moons. Add to the skillet and cook over a medium heat, stirring frequently, until wilted and golden brown. About 20 to 25 minutes.
