Question:Will there be a Real Food Daily Cookbook out in the future?Article continues below Answer:Yes, absolutely The Real Food Daily Cookbook will be published one day. It is a project I really want to get to. Not a day goes by in the restaurant or on our website that people donšt ask about a cookbook. Not a day goes by that I am not thinking about the cookbook. It is a project I take very seriously.Right now, I am focused on opening more restaurants in the Los Angeles area. On the personal front, I am very involved in parenting my two year old daughter. I figure by the time she gets in school and several new locations have gotten on their feet, I will be able to write the RFD Cookbook. Just so some of you understand the mechanics of making a cookbook. It isn't as simple as taking the recipes we use in the restaurants and putting them in a book. The recipes need to be calculated and tested for domestic use. This process takes a lot of time to perfect, so that when you make the recipe at home you'll succeed at making the dishes as delicious as they are at RFD. Also, I really envision the book to capture the spirit of Real Food Daily and I'll need my time and energy to be unencumbered so I can put into the book what I have put into RFD. I am flattered and honored that there is such an interest in a cookbook and I know the wait will be worth everyone's while. |
