Cooking With PETA
by PETA
Review by Erin Pavlina

Cooking With PETAMy grandmother once told me that a cookbook was good as long as you got one good recipe out of it that you could use over and over again. With this book, Cooking With PETA, I am up to 6 with no end in sight!

The recipes I've tried so far are fantastic. They taste great and are easy to make. Two big pluses in my book. The Tofu Neat Loaf can go from ingredients to oven in less than 5 minutes. This is the meal I make when I have absolutely no time to cook. My family loves it, including my 13 month old! And I always seem to have all the ingredients on hand.

Another recipe I must tell you about is the Smoky Spuds with Barbecue Beans. We're talking grilled sweet potatoes with black beans and barbecue sauce poured over them. At first this recipe didn't sound like it would taste good; I've never had beans and potatoes in the same bite. But it has to be tried to be believed!

The book also features quick stories about amazing animals that will touch your heart. I really recommend this cookbook... purchasing it supports a great cause, and you'll get some fantastic, easy recipes for your cooking arsenal.
