Article continues below In Vegan in Volume you will find menu ideas for breakfast buffets, kids' parties, 8 different holidays, communions, bar/bat mitzvahs, and weddings, among other occasions. Berkoff has left no detail untouched. She offers advice on what kind of serving ware you'll need and how to adjust your menu with the changing seasons. She also has menu ideas for hospital patients who often have special dietary needs, and suggestions for senior citizens. The recipes are printed large and clear on their own individual pages, but they lack photographs to show what the final product might look like. Her recipes are easy to prepare and sure to please even your non-vegan guests. It's my guess that they'll be shocked that their delicious meal is vegan. Berkoff has also included an appendix titled "Product Resources" that has information on how to contact and order from many vegan food suppliers. Vegan in Volume is extremely helpful when planning a menu for any large gathering of people. Your guests will be impressed and satisfied with these healthy, tasty, vegan meals, and you'll feel good knowing that you're feeding them delicious food that's good for body and soul. |
