Drinking any water that is not contaminated is going to be better than drinking other fluids. The only reason that I can think of that someone would recommend not drinking reverse osmosis water is that it has the minerals removed. I think that getting naturally occurring minerals in water is a good idea but if they come only with additives such as chlorine, and possible contaminants, then it?s best to drink your reverse osmosis water. I have a good water filter and feel fine about drinking my water which does not smell of chlorine. We all have to drink something and water is much better than sodas and other sugar-filled beverages.
