I don't want to take supplements. What vegetables are rich in Vitamin B12?
-Carol

Dear Carol,

Unfortunately, there is no plant food that has a consistent level of vitamin B12. Since B12 is manufactured by bacteria, it would depend upon the contamination level of the plant. Since we live in such a sanitized culture and wash our produce so well, we cannot depend on vegetables for B12. For vegans, our choices are: take a supplement, or eat foods that have added B12.
