You have to realize I live in a small midwestern town. I stopped today to pick up some last minute items. The check-out girl says "soy milk- Oh yuck, chick peas? What are those? Brown rice? What do they put in it to make it brown?...argh!!! Between her and the lady behind me buying her kids sugar cereal, pudding cups, chips and frozen deep fried meats.... Sure glad my 5 were happy with the dried fruit bits they were getting as a treat. And I can sleep at night knowing they aren't eating all that junk! I feel better now, LOL. Just needed to vent to those who might understand.

The cashier was saying that? You should have said something to the manager. She had no right to comment on your purchases!

I agree with you completely. The other day I walked past a McDonald's and there was a young mother feeding her baby of about one year french fries! I was just so disgusted!

The cashiers at my grocery store do not every really say anything. One time one did, she said, "Can I come over to your house to eat?". I thought that was pretty cool. Sometimes they will say I did not know we carried this..
