This is certainly a medical issue, but dr's havent helped me. Ok, after I eat anything, I get severe abdominal pains. It doesn't matter if i consume water, tea, bread or veggies...in 5-10 minutes the pain hits me, and is sometimes accompanied by naseua. I have noticed that I don't hurt as badly if i eat raw vegetables and some fruits, however. I have been taken to the ER, seen dr's, had tests.....but I can afford no more tests. I've had blood tests, pap tests, and ultrasounds, all inconclusive.
Has anyone else heard of such a thing?

Hi afitch;
Yes I have heard of what you are describing. I have had ulcers on/off since I was an infant. Stress causes mine to flare up as does eating the wrong food. From all that I have been researching on this; cabbage juice and cooked brown rice are about the only foods that help once the ulcer has gotten to this point.
Once the symptoms subside I would NOT consume any dairy in any form. For me some fruits bother the spot as do caffeine and highly salted , sugared or vinegary foods.
I am NOT a medical professional but I have lived with ulcers for 45 years.
Hope this helps.

Actually, I have been trying to avoid caffiene, since I noticed that it does bother me. Highly acidic fruits do also. Hmm. Well, thank you!
