This just goes to show you that "dairy-pushers" are our for their own interests, and not yours.
“even if you’ve been diagnosed with Lactose Intolerance, you can still drink milk.”
If you are Lactose Intolerant, ask your doctor about the following ways you can manage your condition and still get the nutrients your body needs:
Start small:
Try small, frequent portions of milk.
Work it in:
Gradually increase your serving size.
Pair it:
Drink milk with food, rather than on an empty stomach.
Make it easy:
Look for lactose-free milk and/or supplements which can aid
lactose digestion.
Go to the pros:
These tips may not work for everyone. Follow the advice of your doctor. "
Do these people actually think that they are giving you tips??? How about "Avoid drinking the stuff because it's bad enough for your body and the cows we steal it from"? They could have mentioned a milk alternative that will not give you the runs and churn in your stomach... hmmmm soy milk sounds good or even rice milk.
My 2 cents,
EricP
