Special Event Coordinator/Operator

Job Description:
· Coordinate with the Campaigns Department for the van’s itinerary.
· Drive van to destinations and arrive to pre-scheduled events on time.
· Set-up tabling for events.
· Set-up special speakers for engagements with the van.
· Update the www.animalnews.com website (no programming experience necessary).
· Coordinate the video and LED screen media.
· Coordinate with Development & Campaigns department as to who is that monthly/special event sponsor.
· Articulate the issues animals face today, including LCA current campaigns in addition to various legislative appeals.
· Maintain and park the van properly
Requirements:
· 2-3 years grassroots or nonprofit campaigns experience preferred.
· College degree preferred.
· Extremely knowledgeable about animal rights topics.
· Public Speaking skills.
· Understands how to handle various situations with diplomacy
· Responsible, reliable person.
· Clean Driving Record.
· Preferably have very secure, covered parking.
· Office computer skills are required.
