woe is me

so, my dh had a vasectomy on tuesday and i'm really sad because although i have two beautiful boys, i REALLY wanted to have a daughter. i really, really, really, really did. now i'm left with beautiful stinky boys making fart jokes and no beautiful little girl in a pink polka-dot dress playing with paper dolls. *sigh*

Then you'll have the best of both worlds...beautiful stinky boys who will introduce you to your beautiful daughters-in-law...just hang in there...

yes, and i'm secretly hoping that they have lousy mothers of their own and will need me to help them with the wedding plans and to babysit. omg, they won't!!!!! they'll just steal away my boys and them and their fancy "girl-bearing" mothers will have everything and i'll have NOTHING.

yes, i am a wee bit of a drama queen with an over-active imagination :P

Wink

You could have had a girl that loved to make fart jokes too- there are many of us out there I hear you that you are grieving what might have been, sounds hard.

Don't worry, you could always still adopt...there are lots of girls out there. I have one son but have a feeling that all I am going to get are boys also. So I fully plan on adopting a girl from China or India someday!

we were going to adopt our second child and we were looking into adopting a girl from china, but oliver boliver happened instead. i really hope that we do adopt some day. i love that i have such compassionate boys and i think the world thanks me for that. i just crave a mother/daughter relationship and the dresses and the shoes...

p.s. i'm so glad you're back krista!!

thanks! I am so glad you are back too, nice to know there is someone out there not too too far away!

it's too bad adopting from other countries is so expensive otherwise I would be another Angelina Jolie!

yay for ontario vegans!

last night i had a dream that i adopted a beautiful indian child - a boy!! haha. i asked dh last night about adopting - he blew it off. i wish he could understand how much having a daughter would mean to me. i guess i'll just have to work on convincing him...perhaps tonight i'll put ribbons in the baby's hair after his bath. hehehe
