Hi. Our family decided to change our diet beginning this past January. We have been eating almost no meat (we've had fish once) and we were eating very little dairy. I have felt great, but in March (when I was supposed to get my period), I didn't get it. I did have a some discharge tinged with blood, but didn't get a period. I have been reading that it may be because of my diet change. For the 5 months before our diet change, I was finally getting pretty regular periods (I was never regular before...I am very petite and don't have much body fat). Now I am concerned. I changed my diet primarily to be MORE healthy and now I am worried I am messing up my body...maybe I am lacking some nutrient or vitamin which is causing my body to not get a period. However, I do consume enough calories, so that is not it. A couple weeks after missing my period and after reading some different sources, I decided to add dairy products back into my diet. Now, I have been nauseas for almost 5 days (pretty much since adding dairy back). I thought maybe I was pregnant because my basal temperature has stayed up for the past 3 or 4 days, but the preg test was negative. I am wondering if anyone has had trouble with getting their periods since diet change and what they did. I want to remain a vegetarian and really would like to limit dairy, but I would like to have another baby fairly soon

. Also, do you think the nausea is related to adding dairy back to my diet...Has anyone experienced that? Thanks for ANY ADVICE OR OPINIONS
