Whats a good animal charity?

For xmas I was thinking about donating to a charity in my step daughters name but I wanted to do it to a good charity thats will make good use of the money, something affordable, and something that can send her reports now and then on how she helped whatever animal. I have seen ones a while back where you can "adopt a cow" or whatever and it sends you reports. I was just wondering if any of you are more informed about organizations.

You can also buy gifts in their gift shop. Profits help the wolves. If you donate to become a “wolf caretaker”, you are sponsoring a particular wolf with food and care. You’ll get a photo of the wolf plus some other stuff.

Peaceful Prairie Sanctuary in Colorado is a small sanctuary incredibly dedicated to rescuing animals. The husband and wife team do it all pretty much on their own. They’re very hardworking. These sanctuaries are small and personal. Much of the money you send goes directly to the animals instead of into the administration of the organization.
