Actually having sex daily didn't really work for us. We were really trying for the longest time then I came to the conclusion that I really wasn't ovulating and that we were going to have to go to fertility treatment and gave up on the frequency/timing thing. The month we finally got lucky DH and I were both crazy busy and tired and barely doing it at all, he even had a grumble at me that even if I had ovulated we had no chance that month because we'd barely had sex!

Maybe it was the lack of pressure or maybe DH has a problem too (he was never tested) and needed some time to save up but not going at it like rabbits worked for us!

celtic-womble, the last few times I saw my doctor, he did tell me that couples should have sex every other day (as opposed to every day) because the man has to have an extra day in between to produce enough sperm. Maybe that's what you guys needed. I'm glad it worked for you.

Honestly, we're always so tired, it's hard to find the time and energy these days! But, so far we've tried having sex just around ovulation (but that was before I was charting, so that was always just a guess as to when I was ovulating) and every other day all month, and neither has worked for us. Actually, last month we had sex every other day right before I ovulated (while I was charting, so I know it had to be right) and once after ovulation. Unfortunatly, we ended up missing that day I ovulated, but we got it the day before and the day after ovulation. And, of course, a few days later, I had my period.

I've got to get it right at some point, right?

Ronni
