Wink Conception while breastfeeding
I'm a breastfeeding mother. Our son is 7months. I have not gotten my period, BUT just found out today that....I'M PREGNANT!!! Not a bad thing, my husband and I are actually very happy. I was wondering if anyone knew how to calculate how far along I was because I don't have a period to base from. Or do I just need to wait for my midwife appt. Any advice will be great. Thank-you.

Oh! Congratulations yet again!! I feel like a broken record, teehee. Sorry I don't have any advice on figuring out the date, being inexperienced as I am so far, with no kids...

your midwife should be able to guess how far along you are. i think they do they length of the fundus (which is about 1 cm per week pregnant you are). also, the heartbeat can often be heard at about 12 weeks. plus, a sonogram can be done and that can be a pretty accurate estimate. (they do it by measuring the head and a few other bones.)

Thats what I was guessing, that I'd have to wait for our first visit. sometimes I just want answers Thanks for the imput.
