Go for it!
babies are always wonderful and you are so young, I think you should have more than one! I know a great mom who had two children young, and then waited a while, got more established and then had two more and is loving it the second time around! She has two kids in university and two little ones at home. As for the age difference, I have two half sisters 16 and 18 years younger than me and we are very close. We have so much fun and they always love it when I look after them so their mom doesn't have to feel guilty about them not wanting her to go out or anything. And their mom can relax when she is out knowing that they are safe with me. And big families are so much fun! I plan on having a lot of babies...
