At 18 months of age my child had a huge appetite. In fact, at just about 3 years of age, she still does! This child loves to eat.

I can't remember details about what she ate at 18 months, but today this is a sample of what she eats:

Breakfast: Soy flax waffle with pure maple syrup.

Snack: 2 pieces of fruit

Lunch: Soy chicken nuggets with barbecue sauce, black beans, a cookie or a small vegan ice cream sandwich.

Snack: Hummus on rice cakes

Dinner: Baked potato with creamy garlic dressing, steamed broccoli and squash.

And all day she will drink several cups of fortified rice milk.

Just a sample of one day. She eats so many different things. On weekends we have a larger breakfast, often having pancakes and tofu scramble and fruit smoothies or cut up fruit. Okay, now I'm starving.

But I hope that helps a little. curious to see what everyone else's kids eat.

I just let my short guy eat when he is hungry and how much he desires. He generally has some fruit shake and some kind of fruit for breakfast. Then maybe a snack of some fruit later in the morning. For lunch, we have beans/potatoes or avocadoes. Then later in the day maybe he will have some graham crackers. For dinner, he will eat some of whatever we are eating but he always gets some veggie juice at this meal. And if he gets hungry later on, he gets a snack - fruit or a nut butter. I let his appetite be the guide of how much and when he eats though. Hope that helps.
