I'm so happy to have found you guys! My name is Kay, and I'm a proud vegan mama to a beautiful 9 month old little girl. My DH is L-O Veg., but we plan to raise Tessa vegan. We live in Ontario, Canada... any other canucks out there??

I posted also on the health board, as I have a few questions about EFA's, etc. It's so great to find a place like this, as I've been really struggling with trying to get GOOD veg. information.

So, that's a bit about us ~ I look forward to getting involved here & getting to know you all!

Welcome to the board and the community. Everyone here is very friendly and supportive.

You mentioned your husband was vegetarian... we have a lot of other people on the board who are in "mixed" marriages. How did you guys come to the decision to raise your child vegan and not vegetarian?

Welcome. My younger daughter is named Tessa, too. We have 2 girls - Angelina (4 1/2) & Tessa (2 1/2). My dad lives near Canada - in north WA state, so we make it up to Vancouver ocassionally, but not near you.

Welcome, my Elle is an 11month old vegan, never sick and she is a big, healthy, super happy girl. My husband and I were vegetarians and made the transition to veganism, once I became pregnant.

This is a great place for information and support. I found this site after a bad experience with a Dr. during a check-up. Now when I feel alone, I read all the post, of all the parents, that also feel they are giving their child the best gift of all, a healthy start.

I'm sophie, and I have 3 kids aged 6, 4, and 2 months. My partner and I have been vegan about 10 years and our kids are all very healthy and wonderful! See you round!
