How to Caramelize Onions

How do you caramelize onions?

 

Lightly oil a skillet or fry pan with an organic canola or olive oil. Cut onions in thinly sliced half moons. Add to the skillet and cook over a medium heat, stirring frequently, until wilted and golden brown. It will take about 20 to 25 minutes to reach that golden caramel color but it’s worth the wait!
