Product ReviewsNutra Nutswww.nutranuts.com Review by Erin Pavlina
Grandpa Po. I like the name of this company. For some reason I'm imagining an old guy with a cane and a lot of spunk. And Grandpa makes an interesting snack product I didn't even know existed. It's original and tastes great!
Nutra Nuts are a combination of organic popcorn and organic soybeans. Grandpa puts a little oil and sea salt in 'em and voila, you've got a slightly salty snack that's healthier than any popcorn you'll find at the movie theatres.
Article continues below When I first opened the resealable ziplock bag I saw these little golden nuggets that looked like shrunken popcorn and these little hard nuggets that looked like corn seeds, but were actually the soybeans. Upon trying the snack I pleasantly discovered that it wasn't hard like popcorn can be. It crunched easily in my teeth and it didn't leave little particles that got stuck in my teeth, something I really hate about regular popcorn. The Nutra Nuts come in snack sizes and large sizes. They're perfect for smuggling into the movie theatre with you, taking on a hike, car rides with the kids, etc. They are a little high in fat, so watch out. And they're very addictive so make sure you have enough for everyone.
Nutra Nuts come in three flavors: slightly unsalted, slightly spicy, and slightly sweet. The sweet flavor does contain honey so if you do eat honey, you've got another choice here. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by the unique flavor and texture of this delicious snack food. |
