Vegan Cookies from Allison's Gourmet Personal Development for Smart People |
Product ReviewsO'Cookieswww.o-cookies.com Review by Jennifer Levitan O'Cookies, a wholesome cookie company, has just released it's first vegan cookie bite. O'Cookies is a company that focuses on wholesome, all-natural, low fat and low cholesterol cookies. Their cookies are a "healthy way to satisfy your sweet tooth." Their new vegan version is the Dark Chocolate Raisin Oat cookie bite. These cookies are about the size of a teaspoon scoop of cookie batter, and they remain in the rounded scooped shaped after they are baked. Two cookies contain only 90 calories and 1.5 grams of fat, none of which is trans or saturated fats. Article continues below The Dark Chocolate Raisin Oat cookie is truly bite size. My family could easily pop the cookies right into our mouths. The cookies were flavorful and not overly sweet. The chocolate was not consistently in every bite and they were a bit dry, but the overall flavor of the cookie was good. We did find we enjoyed them more with a glass of almond milk to help mositen them a bit. These cookies are just right if you are looking for a healthy flavored, low calorie sweet treat. You can enjoy these delicious little vegan morsels without feeling guilty at all. Low-fat, low-cholesterol, and low in calories, just right for dessert! |
