Product ReviewsVegan Quesowww.food-for-lovers.com/ Review by Lori Harvey
Good summer news! Check out Food For Lovers' debut product - Vegan Queso. It has a surprisingly authentic Tex-Mex taste. It really is quite wonderful! It's very pungent, but not overwhelmingly so. There is a perfect balance of creaminess and flavors which carries it through your tastebuds well. You'd think it's made with cheese - but it isn't! They use nutritional yeast for the cheesy flavor Plus all the spices, tomatoes and green chiles you expect in a a southwestern spicy dip.
Besides being vegan it is also has no nuts, soy, or fat, and it contains much less sodium than regular quesos. Also, with the entire jar having less than 250 calories, it is a wonderful snack for everyone. Food For Lovers managed to bring a fabulous queso to the vegan realm and I dare say it is addicting! We will definitely be keeping an eye on their website to see what's next! So who are the folks behind this yummy queso? Out of their love for food and health, the environment, animals, and each other, Christopher and Crystal Tate created Food for Lovers. After spending nearly four years mastering the recipe for Vegan Queso and saving up to jar it and present it to the world, the Tates are now taking over the southwest and quickly spreading their love for authentic vegan queso across the country. With their perseverance, Food for Lovers has already become a Whole Foods Top 20 Product. Even better, they now ship their queso worldwide! |
