Why Did You Go Vegan?

Gerald

I grew up on a meat and potatoes diet. My mom loved cooking and we ate everything you shouldn't. I have fond memories of my childhood in that regard. I started reading up on health and I tried all kinds of diets and even lost some weight. I eventually adopted a vegetarian diet and noticed right away that I stopped having so many stomach problems. I read some more, including Diet for a New America and that did it for me. Going vegan wasn't nearly as difficult as I thought it would be. Virtually all of my health problems cleared right up, I lost a lot of weight, and I feel fantastic. My family can't believe the difference. I've tried to convince them to go vegan but they just won't listen. It's very frustrating.

Oh, yeah, I'm 26 and looking for a nice vegan woman to settle down with. Hard to find, yeah, but worth the effort! Peace.
