Why Did You Go Vegan?

Evolving into a vegan seems to be the only logical and ethical thing to do for my body and for animals that are being slaughtered and mutilated every day. I was always thinking about the food on my plate at holidays as a kid and where it came from. As I grew older and had information at my fingertips I found out the answers and didnt like the truth. The only thing I could do is change. Now I'm raising my daughter vegan and I happily cook all the time and love the new inventions and alternatives I come up with. It wasn't easy trying these new foods and didn't like them at first, but now almost everything tastes good. Today we have so many alternatives to animal food that it seems so selfish not to be vegan.

The last challenge was ending my vain beauty products...I am now doing that. Doing less to my natural beauty and celebrating my real beauty, not my fake beauty in a bottle, and questioning my thoughts that have been driven into my head through TV and society. I am liberated and feeling great!
