cynthiaCynthia Mosher – Editor, Publisher
Cynthia began experimenting with whole grains, plant proteins, fruits, and vegetables following the principles of food combining. That led to a fantastic improvement in health and a desire to learn more. She holds a BS in Natural Health Sciences with a core curriculum in naturopathy, nutrition, herbology, holistic health, and plant-based nutrition. As VegFamily’s owner she serves as editor and general manager.

With a degree in Business Administration and Marketing and an array of skills such as customer service, team leadership, research, teaching, public speaking, graphic design, email marketing, and caring for her own family, Melanie is our all around energizer! She is our Reviews Manager for products and books and also serves as our Social Media Guru. She lives in Canada with her husband and two adorable girls.

Dina is a vegan dietitian whose specialties include chronic disease prevention, vegetarian/vegan nutrition, and lifestyle. Dina enjoys gourmet vegan cooking, downhill skiing, and traveling. Dina believes that everyone’s health can benefit by moving toward a plant-based diet.

Marty Davey, MS, RD  – Nutrition Advisor
A Registered Dietitian, Marty has a Masters degree in Food and Nutrition from Marywood University. She became a vegetarian in 1980 when she discovered that the French didn’t want our meat products due to factory farming methods. She began studying nutrition and switched to a totally plant-based lifestyle. She has a private practice specializing in assisting clients transitioning to a plant-based regime.

Cathe Olson – The Whole Family
Cathe is a freelance writer and author of Simply Natural Baby Food and The Vegetarian Mother’s Cookbook. She’s studied vegetarian, macrobiotic, and whole foods nutrition and cookery. Cathe cooked at natural foods restaurants and delis in the San Francisco Bay and Central Coast areas of California before settling down with her husband Gary to raise a family. She works at home while caring for her daughters Aimie and Emily.

Jill Nusinow – Nutrition Advisor
Registered Dietitian, culinary educator, and cookbook author, Jill is a speaker, consultant and all around proponent of a plant-based diet. She teaches vegetarian and vegan cooking at Santa Rosa Junior College in California and other places around the US. A freelance writer and adjunct instructor with a Master’s Degree in Developmental Psychology, Tammie resides in Michigan with her omnivorous husband, four veg kids, and small menagerie of pets. Rebecca holds a masters degree in theatre and loves being part of VegFamily and getting to try so many great vegan products! Rebecca lives in New Jersey with her husband Steve and their crazy cats. She carries her first child in her heart – her son Cole was born still in April of 2005. He will be forever loved and missed.
